Hi Gustavo,

Thank you for the comments. One way to design products that will last for more time is to use trend forecasting and use these insights to create future scenarios say 5 & 10 years out. Remember, customers only know what they want form what they can choose from, so it is up to us to design their future;)

Best regards,
Jay

Hello Jay,

Thanks a lot for the interesting insights. I'd like to explore more on ways to detect the "unstated" consumer wants. Whenever we interact, or put ourselves in their shoes, we probably develop an understanding of their pressing wants. But how to go more into the future and design products that will last for more time?

Thanks again,
Gustavo

Indeed, today it takes much more than financial incentives to attract, motivate and retain talent. Wile money is important, for many, it is not everything. Today, people want to contribute to a greater good while not being micro managed!

Here is a great RSA video with an excerpt form Daniel Pinks Drive about what motivates us > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6XAPnuFjJc

Hi Amrita,
Very interesting; good to hear about this perspective.
Here is a thought: would it be possible to describe Jugaad as 'efficient and effective design thinking'?
Best,
Tim
